San Francisco 49ers: Full Win/Loss Predictions for All 16 Games
By Bobby Horne
Coming off a disastrous 5-11 season, the San Francisco 49ers have hit the reset button. New coaching staff sets hopes high, but will they turn it around in 2016?
It was only three short years ago that San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman stepped in front of Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White to break up a pass that sent the 49ers to the Super Bowl.
In 2015 however, the 49ers looked lost. They saw their quarterback that lead them to the Super Bowl get benched midseason for a former first-round bust.
At the seasons end, the front office decided it was necessary to make a change. The entire coaching staff was fired except for running backs coach Tom Rathman.
They wanted to wash away the stink from 2015 and move forward. They set their sights on former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and reeled him in. Kelly hired a new staff, in doing so, he has revived the fan base and given them a lot to look forward to.
Kelly certainly has an uphill battle to bring the 49ers back to what they were just three short years ago. The 49ers have the NFL’s toughest schedule in 2016, according to CBS Sports.
Can Kelly turn the 49ers around or do they settle for another top 10 pick in the NFL Draft?
Let’s take a look at their schedule and see how they fare in 2016.
