3. Week 3 at Seattle Seahawks

Maybe it’s 2016 that the 49ers can finally solve the hex that is playing in the Great Northwest. The 49ers have not won at Seattle since December 2011. Since that game the closest losing margin has been six points in the 2013 NFC Championship Game.

This game is an opportunity for the 49ers to make an early statement. By this game they should be synced into Kelly’s offense, and should be adapting to the all the defensive schemes. Motivation is never an issue in this game. A win in this game would shake up the NFC West.

The key is for the 49ers offense to be able to move the ball. In last year’s game at CenturyLink Field, the 49ers could only manage 14 first downs, and couldn’t run the ball nor could they stop the run (255 rush yards allowed).

If the 49ers can improve in these areas, this game should be much more exciting for 49ers fans. It is about time to silence the 12th man for once.
