Week 16 at Los Angeles Rams

Not having to watch NFL games at the Edward Jones Dome anymore will be a nice thing. Those lights were awful. And running back Reggie Bush probably has more than a few things to say about the facilities.

At any rate, the 49ers traveling to Los Angels to take on the Rams should be seen as one of the more winnable games San Francisco will have on its schedule this season.

And, by this point, it’s possible LA’s new quarterback — whoever he may be — is starting under center for this Christmas Eve game.

But the Rams are coming off a Thursday Night Football game the previous week. So head coach Jeff Fisher’s squad will have a little more rest and preparation time to get ready for a home contest against San Francisco.

Will it matter? It’s hard to say. The optimist perspective points to the 49ers figuring out a way to beat this perennially underachieving Rams team at their own home. Yet this is a game which could go in Los Angeles’ favor as well.

Let’s go with the latter, since it’s a road bout for the Niners.

Prediction: Loss
