Week 14 vs. New York Jets

Much of this game will depend on what the New York Jets’ quarterbacking situation is. Will Ryan Fitzpatrick be back?

If so, the Niners’ chances of coming away with a victory here seem grim. That may be the case anyway with the Jets coming off an impressive 10-6 season last year. In spite of their problems at the quarterback position, New York is trending upwards and should be in line for a solid year.

Pro Bowl defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson could end up wanting to play for the 49ers, as was noted by Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee (h/t Niners Nation), but he’ll likely be tearing up San Francisco’s offensive line in this particular contest.

Little more needs to be said about the 49ers’ O-line problems. This unit could be better in 2016, but stopping Wilkerson is one of the more extreme tasks San Francisco will face.

The Jets win this one pretty easily.
