It’s never too early to start preparing for your fantasy football league, and there will be some interesting San Francisco 49ers to watch in advance of the 2016 NFL season. Which players should draw your attention, and what guys should you avoid?

If you’re like any other fantasy football nut, you’re probably already making plans for your team(s) heading into the 2016 season even if Week 1 is a long, long ways away.

So to give you what you’re craving, Niner Noise is breaking down some possible fantasy targets on the San Francisco 49ers and telling you which players you will want to target, which guys may be the perfect sleeper pick and which Niners you should steer clear from altogether.

A lot has changed since the 49ers’ anemic season a year ago. San Francisco’s new head coach Chip Kelly will certainly reinvigorate the offense, which should generate Niners’ owners more points on the year.

Other things will change as the offseason rolls along. Free agency and the 2016 NFL draft will alter the shape of things to come in Santa Clara. Yet one should assume Kelly’s offense will make a notable improvement over the last-place standing the 49ers endured under former head coach Jim Tomsula a year ago.

But one also has to consider San Francisco still lacks a lot of talent and shouldn’t be considered an offensive powerhouse right out of the gate.

Still, there are number of players worth watching and some who can make the difference in your league.

So let’s break down some fantasy picks you may be considering in 2016 and try to determine whether or not you should target them, take a late-flier risk or avoid the player at all cost.
