No. 17: Atlanta Falcons

2015 Record: 8-8

The Pick: DT A’Shawn Robinson, Alabama

The Atlanta Falcons’ 2015 season was certainly a tale of two halves as the Falcons came crashing down in a major way after a 6-1 start to the year.

Atlanta has some needs across the board, but it would be surprising to see head coach Dan Quinn — a defensive line specialist — look anywhere else but this unit to make some serious upgrades to the Falcons’ 14th-ranked defense.

The Falcons allowed 20 rushing touchdowns last year, which ranked 31st in the NFL. Part of solving that problem would be adding Alabama defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson.

As noted with fellow Crimson Tide teammate Reggie Ragland, Robinson would be the type of run-stopping force that would immediately provide a boost to an inconsistent and red-zone-deficient defense.
