The San Francisco 49ers hold the No. 7 pick in the 2016 NFL draft. An easy prediction would say the Niners remain right there and pick one of the numerous prospects mocked to them leading up to the draft. But Niner Noise wants to bring you bolder predictions than just the norm.

What will San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke’s actions be in the upcoming 2016 NFL draft?

It’s anyone’s guess, really. Baalke could go the traditional route, stay put with each and every pick the Niners have and simply select the players many experts feel the 49ers will land.

That’s perfectly fine and all. And it wouldn’t be a total shock to see a very traditional type of draft from Baalke. But this article isn’t about traditional. Instead, we’ll take a look at some bolder predictions for the 49ers with the draft just around the corner.

As of now, the Niners are projected to have a total of 12 picks over the course of the draft. The entire list can be viewed here, courtesy of David Fucillo of Niners Nation.

Four of the 49ers’ 12 selections are compensatory. These particular draft picks cannot be traded. Although that looks to be changing in 2017, according to a report from ESPN.

But that doesn’t affect San Francisco now. Yet plenty of other shake-ups and shockers could easily take place over the course of the draft.

Without any further delay, Niner Noise gives you five bold predictions for San Francisco in the upcoming draft.
