The San Francisco 49ers have been blessed to play in six Super Bowls during their storied career. And the Niners don’t lack for exciting plays or moments on the NFL’s greatest stage. Niner Noise takes a look back at the 10 best Super Bowl moments in franchise history.

The San Francisco 49ers won’t be capping off their “Quest for Six” Lombardi Trophies as Super Bowl 50 is played out at the Niners’ home of Levi’s Stadium in less than two weeks.

But the franchise can easily look back to a plethora of memorable moments from its six Super Bowl appearances in the team’s storied history. With five NFL crowns under their belt, the 49ers can feel pretty good about what they’ve accomplished since being founded way back in 1946.

And it’s a legacy that continues on with the league’s biggest game played out on the game’s 50th anniversary amidst the storied history that accompanies the red and gold.

San Francisco owns plenty of Super Bowl moments that capture the heart of 49ers fans from across the globe.

From the Niners’ first Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XVI, quarterback Steve Young’s dominance in Super Bowl XXIX and all the way to quarterback Colin Kaepernick nearly completing an amazing comeback in Super Bowl XLVII, the 49ers have plenty of memories to recall.

So with Super Bowl 50 just around the corner, it’s only necessary Niner Noise takes a look back at the 10 best San Francisco 49ers moments in the biggest of all games.
