The 49ers had little to shout about during the 2015 season but, before we look ahead to 2016 and the Chip Kelly era, let’s hand out some awards from a dreadful campaign that fans will  want to quickly forget.

With Chip Kelly hired as the new head coach of the 49ers, there is sure to be much scrutiny on how general manager Trent Baalke will retool the roster to fit Kelly’s dynamic offensive scheme and add pieces to a defense that was inconsistent but showed signs of promise in 2015.

But, before turning our attention to the Kelly era, let’s take one last look back at the dismal 2015 season for the 49ers by dishing out some awards for those players who excelled and those whose poor play contributed to a 5-11 finish and the subsequent firing of Jim Tomsula.
