NFL Draft 2015: COMPLETE 49ers Grades for ALL PICKS

Round 3: Eli Harold, OLB, Virginia

Eli Harold fell to the 49ers in the third and was an absolute steal. Though this doesn’t fill a need, per se, it does give the 49ers an overload of riches at pass rusher. The 49ers newest strength on defense is up front. Harold can rotate with Ahmad Brooks, Aaron Lynch, and Aldon Smith to put tons of pressure on opposing QBs.

Grade: A

The 49ers may not have needed Harold, but he is such a good player at such a low pick, that this can’t be criticized at all.
