The San Francisco 49ers managed to put a lot of pieces in place in 2017, which leaves the team some room to move excess commodities, like these three suggested trades the Niners may consider for the 2018 NFL offseason.

Unlike the NBA, MLB or NHL, it’s rare to see blockbuster deals take place in the NFL.

Unless, of course, you’re the San Francisco 49ers and pull off two of the greatest heists during the 2017 season.

The most recent one, acquiring quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo from the New England Patriots for a second-round NFL Draft pick, looks like an absolute steal. Even if it stemmed from rumored dysfunction and tension within the Patriots organization.

Lynch has shown the ability to move players and picks. Combine that with the knowledge the Niners now have something worthy in a roster, it’s possible more trade moves happen between now and the start of the 2018 regular season.

In this slideshow, we’ll explore three trades Lynch and the 49ers may want to consider making. We’ll break down potential partners and describe why it makes sense for both sides.

First, let’s try to move some “excess” commodities from San Francisco’s roster.
