NFL Combine sleeper No. 4: RB Isaac Guerendo, Louisville

. 4. . Isaac Guerendo. 438. Isaac Guerendo. Isaac Guerendo. player. Running back.

Kyle Shanahan has frequently had super-speedy running backs, and former 49ers tailbacks like Matt Breida and Raheem Mostert were previously clocked as the NFL's fastest ball-carriers in previous seasons.

The Niners have the best running back in the game right now in Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey, but No. 2 rusher Elijah Mitchell is an oft-injured option and has yet to prove he can be durable for an entire season.

That leaves reserve running back Jordan Mason as the only other legitimate option.

Running back Isaac Guerendo out of Louisville had 810 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, and he's potentially going to be at the top of the leaderboard during the combine for his 40-yard time.

Doing so should push him into consideration as a mid-round pick, and one cannot underestimate just how much Shanahan loves speed.
