Report says there'll be more 49ers fans than Chiefs fans at Super Bowl 58

Unlike the last time these two teams met in the big game, the 49ers will have a noticeable crowd advantage in Super Bowl 58.

According to reports, the 49ers will have the edge in home-field advantage against the Chiefs in Super Bowl 58.

Four years ago when Super Bowl 54 was being played down at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, it was understandable why the San Francisco 49ers fans in attendance paled in comparison to the fans for the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to some, KC fans outnumbered the Faithful by a ratio of approximately 3-to-1.

Now, with Super Bowl 58 just days away and these same two teams poised to battle it out again, the tables have shifted.

Latest reports state that the Niners will have the "home crowd" for Super Bowl Sunday.

Repot says nearly two-thirds of Super Bowl 58 fans will root for 49ers

According to a report from Vivid Seats, submitted to Niner Noise this week, San Francisco is expected to have a 60-percent crowd advantage for the Super Bowl.

Unlike Super Bowl 54, it probably helps that Super Bowl 58 is being played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, only a short flight from the Bay Area and also from Southern California, which has an abundance of 49ers fans, too.

The Faithful do travel well, but the proximity to the West Coast definitely makes this easier.

Granted, the ticket costs are going to exclude plenty of diehard Niners and Chiefs fans from attending. According to the same report, the cost of a ticket is averaging $8,776.

That's quite a hefty price to pay, but going to a Super Bowl (and seeing your favorite team win) is certainly a bucket-list item for nearly every fan.

The 49ers and Chiefs square off for Super Bowl 58 on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
