Niner Noise has elite response to Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl ring photo

Not to brag, but Niner Noise had an epic roast of Patrick Mahomes and our Chiefs friends at Arrowhead Addict.

There's nothing wrong with a little banter, and it's about time we let you in on a small amount of FanSided history, and Niners Noise is part of FanSided as the site covering the San Francisco 49ers.

The first ever FanSided site, however, was Arrowhead Addict. With so much of the national NFL media covering the popular teams back east or down south, brothers Adam Best and Zach Best elected to do their own coverage of their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, most Niners fans aren't going to like KC all that much. At least not after what happened in Super Bowl LIV at the conclusion of the 2019 season.

That was that one Super Bowl in which San Francisco shut down quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for the better part of three quarters.

Forget about the fourth quarter, though. And forget about the 49ers losing that game.

Until you can't. Because, after Mahomes and Co. "avenged" the Niners' NFC Championship loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the reigning NFL MVP now has two Super Bowl rings to his name.

He's not afraid to flaunt the hardware either, which may make some San Francisco fans cringe at the thought one of those rings came at the expense of the red and gold's second-ever Super Bowl loss.

Just to remind you, Arrowhead Addict wanted fans across the NFL world to know who "the best" is:

So, where does Niner Noise come into play?

Niner Noise (yes, us) just roasted Arrowhead Addict with elite gif of 49ers legend Joe Montana

Yes, we're bragging about ourselves using a gif in response to Arrowhead Addict's tweet about Mahomes.

But, when you think about quarterbacks with a lot of rings, one familiar name for both teams (he played for both squads) should come to mind.

Joe Montana.

If you know where we're going with this, kudos to you. If you don't, well, here you are anyway:

Admit it. You chuckled a little bit.

A number of years ago, AT&T ran a series of commercials with collegiate and NFL legends, and the above ad pictured Heisman Trophy winners like Bo Jackson, Doug Flutie and Herschel Walker flaunting their college accolades in front of the Heisman-less Montana.

Montana was impressed, clearly.

Yes, we know Montana's words in the commercial are different than what's listed in the gif. But, if anyone is counting, go do something else.

We're just glad we got to dust off that awesome Montana moment at the Chiefs' expense.

And we still love you, Arrowhead Addict.
