5 moves that could maintain 49ers' current Super Bowl window

The Niners could still stand for some improvements this offseason to keep their Super Bowl window open.

Let's take a look at what those could be.

No. 2: 49ers must find a way to sign Tre'Davious White

As far as finding the cap space, it'd take some wiggle room to land veteran cornerback Tre'Davious White, whom the Buffalo Bills recently released to free up cap space.

Perhaps the 29-year-old two-time Pro Bowler would accept a cheaper deal with the understanding he'd be going to an elite defense with a legitimate shot at winning a Super Bowl right now through the notably easier path of the NFC, but no guarantees on that.

Either way, this would be the ideal shot for the 49ers to fully reinforce their secondary, which essentially has only one massive hole at cornerback.

The Niners currently have two quality starters in Deommodore Lenoir and Pro Bowler Charvarius Ward, but adding someone like White to the mix would put the finishing touch on what could be an elite defensive backfield.

That'd be the kind of move Super Bowl teams would make.
