The 49ers have made it something of a tradition to dress sharply when they visit their hated NFC West rivals during the regular season.
Perhaps the NFL schedule-makers did the San Francisco 49ers a favor by scheduling two games against the Seattle Seahawks in three weeks.
That's where the Niners are at now heading into Week 12, and they'll have to square off against a 6-4 Hawks squad that just fell behind the NFC West lead by a full game after losing to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday.
San Francisco, meanwhile, improved to 7-3 after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home.
Making things a bit sweeter (and a little more challenging for the players) is the fact that it's a short week, on Thanksgiving and will be featured on Thursday Night Football.
Given the primetime nature of the game, the 49ers have to show up dressed for the best, right?
49ers to wear classic 1994 road throwbacks vs. Seahawks
The Niners arguably have the best alternate uniforms in the NFL, and no one (literally, no one) will complain when they don the 1994 throwbacks.
And it doesn't matter if it's the home reds or the road whites. Both looks are fantastic.
Since San Francisco is the road team, it'll don the 1994 throwback road white jerseys for Thursday night's contest at Lumen Field.
It's not the first time the 49ers have worn their road throwbacks up north either, as the tradition essentially started back in 2019 when the Niners decided to go with these classics as their alternate jerseys.
Now, the only complaint is whether or not the Seahawks will wear their highlight green alternate uniforms for the game.
The Hawks' own 1990s throwbacks are way more classic, and it'd be better if they wore those.
These two NFC West rivals kick off on Thursday, Nov. 23 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
