5 injured players the 49ers desperately need for NFL playoffs
The San Francisco 49ers have dealt with their share of injuries this season. All NFL teams deal with injuries, and overall, the Niners have been fairly lucky compared to other teams.
And lucky in contrast to the bad luck they've had in years prior.
The 49ers have not lost any of their key offensive contributors this year for the season, fortunately. Trent Williams and Deebo Samuel missed some time during the three-game losing streak this season. However, both came back and helped the team have a dominant second half of the year.

The biggest injury the 49ers have faced this season was to their starting safety Talanoa Hufanga. Hufanga suffered a torn ACL earlier in the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Hufanga is only in his second season, but he has made his presence felt both in the 49ers secondary as well as in the backfield of the opponent ever since he started playing. His loss definitely hurt.
Thankfully, the 49ers had rookie Ji’Ayir Brown to step in for Hufanga and he has done a nice job. However he has also been injured recently.
There are injuries on the offensive side of the ball as well.
The following slides dive into the five players the 49ers desperately need to get back on the field for their postseason run.
