49ers post-NFL Draft 53-man roster predictions: Tight end (4)

In: George Kittle, Ross Dwelley, Cameron Latu*, Brayden Willis*

Out: Charlie Woerner

In the never-ending quest for All-Pro George Kittle's backup, San Francisco double-dipped into what was viewed as a deep pool of tight ends in this year's NFL Draft.

Perhaps Alabama's Cameron Latu, who is raw but has plenty of upside, winds up being that No. 2 complementary piece to Kittle, while a seventh-round pick used on Oklahoma's Brayden Willis could possibly be a steal.

Willis, an H-back kind of player, has plenty of versatility, and that might make him a favorite over a returning veteran like Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner.

Considering the 49ers likely only keep four tight ends on the roster, though, the No. 4 spot ends up falling between Dwelley and Woerner.

Dwelley always seems to find a way to hang around, doesn't he?
