3 biggest trap games on 49ers 2023 schedule
No. 3: Cleveland Browns
Back in the mid-1990s until the mid-2000s, actor Drew Carey had a show called “The Drew Carey Show.” Its theme song was “Cleveland Rocks!” It’s been quite a while since Cleveland actually rocked, we’re talking 1980s.
There’s really no hope for the Browns this season either.
Cleveland finished dead last in its division with a 7-9 record. The AFC North is certainly a tough division to win. The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t going away anytime soon, and the Cincinnati Bengals are going to be Super Bowl favorites for as long as quarterback Joe Burrow stays on the team.
This is a prime trap game for the 49ers. They’ll be coming off a highly anticipated rivalry game against the Dallas Cowboys with the Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals and a bye week just after.
San Francisco will want to look ahead, but if they want to win their division and fight for the top seed in the NFC, this can’t be overlooked.
