5 49ers moments from 2023 you (probably) forgot about

With 17 weeks in the NFL season it's easy to forget what happened back in September. And, when you're having an exciting year like the San Francisco 49ers are, you just can't remember it all.

No. 5: Ronnie Bell's first NFL touchdown

The cliché thing to say here is "do you remember the 21st night of September?" because rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell certainly does.

It was in Week 3 against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football when Purdy had two defenders chasing him and fired a dime to Bell, who was just past the end line.

This was Bell's first touchdown in the NFL. So far, it's also his only one. But as is custom in football in any pro rank, to make the team you put in the time and grind on special teams. Bell is the team's fill-in kick and punt returner, although It'll be interesting to see how the 49ers use him down the stretch and further into his career.

If he can come up with highlight reel catches weekly, he could be yet another weapon for Purdy as their careers go on.
