2024 NFL Mock Draft: Plugging the holes to push 49ers to Super Bowl
The less said about the 49ers' Super Bowl heartbreak, the better for all of us. But that doesn't mean we don't immediately try to go one better next season.
The 49ers are still looking for a capable backup for George Kittle. The Niners took two tight ends in the draft last year, Cameronn Latu and Brayden Willis, but that won't stop them if the talented Devin Culp slips down in the draft.
Culp didn't exactly perform up to expectations at Washington, but he does have potential in the NFL if he lands in an ideal spot.
He had 16 catches for 208 yards and two touchdowns in 2023, which was a disappointing year for him.
Despite that, he has a good size at 6-foot-4 and 244 pounds and talent that belies his output.
He's worth a swing late in the draft.
