Cornerback. Bulldogs . Kelee Ringo. 24. player. 814.

On the clock: Pick No. 24: Jacksonville Jaguars – Kelee Ringo, Cornerback, Georgia

Mock Draft 1.0 – Cam Smith, Cornerback, South Carolina
Mock Draft 2.0 – Kelee Ringo, Cornerback, Georgia

The Jacksonville Jaguars did well to win a playoff game last season, but something has to be done about the abysmal cornerback situation for them to take the next step in a crowded AFC. They have some options here late in the first round, and Kelee Ringo is a true boom-or-bust prospect.

Ringo has the prototypical size for a corner at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, and he has exceptional speed with good strength for the next level. Ringo wowed the Combine with his 40-yard time of 4.36 seconds, and he could go a lot higher than this if a team falls in love with his physical traits.

In 2022, Ringo recorded two interceptions and seven passes defended for the Georgia Bulldogs as the team won a second consecutive national championship. For the NFL, Ringo is a press corner, jamming receivers and using his speed to run with them.

Ringo is very scheme specific. He gets lost in zone coverage a lot, and his stiffness when playing means agile receivers can get the drop on him. He’ll have to work on being more fluid in the NFL, or smart coaches will be able to exploit that against him.
