Top 10 sleepers for 49ers heading into 2023 NFL Draft

49ers NFL Draft sleeper target No. 2: CB Darius Rush, South Carolina
The Niners lost cornerback Emmanuel Moseley to free agency and likely will try replacing him long term with third-year pro Deommodore Lenoir, who might be pegged as no more than a high-quality backup.
Not a full-time starter.
Granted, a prospect like Darius Rush wouldn’t be a plug-and-play option for San Francisco. But, that’s the good news: He wouldn’t have to.
With Lenoir on one side and Charvarius Ward on the other, Rush could continue his development after having played the position for only two seasons after transitioning from the offensive side of the ball.
At 6-foot-2 and with a speedy fast 4.37 40-yard time, Rush has the tools and traits to be a lockdown boundary cornerback.
He just needs some polish and patience, which makes him a perfect sleeper on day three of the NFL Draft.
