49ers Christmas gift No. 3: The NFC West

Sure, Niners fans may recall winning the NFC West at the tail end of the 2019 season, and that was awesome.

However, witnessing other teams take home the divisional trophy since then has been tough, especially with the Los Angeles Rams eventually moving on, defeating San Francisco in the NFC Championship game a year ago before winning the Super Bowl.

Thank goodness LA stinks this season, though, and that’s a great gift from Santa Claus. Same with the Arizona Cardinals going through their own weird struggles.

But the best gift of all, particularly after the 49ers went through over 10 years of headaches against them, the Seattle Seahawks no longer being the Niners’ biggest nemesis.

Instead, San Francisco owns the NFC West with a win over the Hawks in Seattle, capping off what has been a perfect 5-0 record within the division.
