A mere day after helping beat the Chargers, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo got plenty of love at a Warriors game from the home team’s cheerleaders.

It must be good to live the life of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Well, the summer months may have been awkward enough, especially amid all the rumor and speculation the Niners would trade him away. But that all came to an end, and Garoppolo is back into a starting role once more.

And gaining attention from the rest of the Bay Area, too.

Garoppolo played a quality game on Sunday Night Football, helping San Francisco defeat the visiting Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 22-16, and the quarterback’s second-half efforts ensured the 49ers would engineer a comeback after trailing 16-10 after the first two frames.

After that victory, what did Garoppolo do?

Head off to a Golden State Warriors game the following day, of course, where he made some splashes with, um… the Dubs’ cheerleading squad.

Jimmy Garoppolo receives attention from Warriors cheerleaders, George Kittle not as much

Garoppolo was kind enough to sit courtside at Chase Center with the Dubs hosting the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

Joined by fullback Kyle Juszczyk, running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end George Kittle, Garoppolo was still nevertheless the star of the group of Niners players showing some love to their Bay Area NBA counterparts.

And the Golden State cheerleaders? They wanted to meet Jimmy G, of course. But they (mostly) passed by Kittle and the others rather hilariously:

Some things don’t change: Garoppolo is still San Francisco’s No. 1 star from the NFL vantage point, and helping the 49ers get out to back-to-back wins over their last two games will have that kind of effect.

If it wasn’t there already, naturally.

Garoppolo and the rest of the Niners gang were able to witness the Dubs knock off the Spurs 132-95, but Jimmy G might have to answer some phone calls about this rather humorous bit of attention.
