LS Taybor Pepper

No drama here, as all three specialists are locked in for at least this season.

Kicker Robbie Gould will look to continue to defy his age and have another successful year as a Niner, having made 87 percent of his field goals, including 3-of-4 from 50-plus yards, and making all but one of his extra points in 2022. He’s in the last year of his contract.

Punter Mitch Wishnowsky is also heading into his final contracted year since the 49ers drafted him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Utah, and he will look to improve upon his career 45.7 punt-yard average as he seeks a new deal.

Lastly, long-snapper Taybor Pepper is also looking for a new deal, but as he’s been a solid snapper, and he should be a player the Niners look to bring back.

This group rounds out a very solid roster, that, despite the lack of true holes, still maintains some intrigue as the preseason kicks off on Friday night in Santa Clara.
