5 49ers players now in line for extensions after Deebo Samuel got paid

No. 1: 49ers EDGE Nick Bosa
Immediately after Deebo Samuel’s deal was announced, the focus on San Francisco’s next extension shifted towards their Pro Bowl pass-rusher, Nick Bosa.
The good news is this focus isn’t a matter of “if,” but rather just a matter of “when.”
Speaking at the start of training camp, general manager John Lynch all but guaranteed Bosa would get his extension, although it’s not likely to happen anytime soon:
"Nick’s got two years left and so that doesn’t make it impossible, but makes it more likely that it’s something that will be addressed next year. No absolutes, you never say never, but here’s what I do know, as long as we’re here, Nick Bosa is going to be a part of the Niners and he’s going to get paid handsomely to do so."

Lynch was speaking to the fact the 49ers already picked up Bosa’s fifth-year option for 2023, and the overtones suggest the Niners will engage in extension talks a year from now, not imminently.
This could be either good or bad, though, especially if Bosa puts forth another commanding campaign like the 15.5-sack, 21-tackle-for-a-loss effort that netted him a Pro Bowl nod last season.
Either way, San Francisco could be looking to dish out what might be a record-setting deal for pass-rushers, something in the range of $29 million on an average annual basis.
For now, it doesn’t sound like the 49ers will shy away from dishing that out.
