Fantasy football: 5 players who’ll be overdrafted in 2022
By Peter Panacy
Overdrafted fantasy football player No. 3: WR Tyreek Hill, Dolphins
2022 ADP: 2.09
The wide receiver next behind Deebo Samuel, in terms of ADP, is one who will likely see a dramatic decrease in production this year, now-Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill.
Hill got his payday in the wake of his Pro Bowl 111-catch, 1,239-yard and nine-touchdown season a year ago with the Kansas City Chiefs. Except that payout didn’t come from KC.
One of the easiest reasons to cite why Hill could experience a notable regression this season is because playing with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is certainly nothing of the caliber of playing with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. As fans can attest, Mahomes had no problem targeting Hill deep down the field, whereas Tagovailoa’s arm strength and trust in the deep ball aren’t exactly positives.
On top of all that, it’ll likely take some time for first-year head coach Mike McDaniel, as innovative as he is, to get all the right pieces in place to turn Miami’s offense into something prolific.
Again, just like Samuel, Hill is a player you should certainly have on your radar.
Probably not in Round 2 of fantasy drafts, though.
