Massive 49ers fan No. 2: Jeremy Renner

Actor Jeremy Renner has sure made his presence known in recent years, especially after being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor, stemming from his performance in the 2008 blockbuster hit, The Hurt Locker.

His portrayal of Hawkeye in the Marvel’s Avenger series probably endeared him to an entirely new group of fans, too.

And what those fans need to know is Renner is an unapologetic Niners fan through and through.

It makes sense. Renner is also from Northern California and has been a San Francisco fan all his life. That fandom actually led to him making an appearance on NFL Network’s show, A Tale of Two Cities, which chronicled the 49ers’ longtime rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys.

Good to know Renner is on the right side of that rivalry.
