49ers big-name free-agent target No. 1: Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
It doesn’t look as though wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be re-signing with the Los Angeles Rams. They just gave a monster contract to former Chicago Bears wideout Allen Robinson. Not to mention, they have All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp who just turned in a career season with receptions and yardage.
Currently, the 49ers are crowded at wide receiver after the recent signings of Malik Turner and Marcus Jones. However, what will be with Deebo Samuel?
Will he hold out? Will he be traded?
At this point anything is possible.

If Samuel is no longer an option for any reason, Beckham could be the new No. 1 in San Francisco.
If contract negotiations stop for now, and Samuel plays out the remainder of his contract, this could be the best wide receiver duo in the league. If a contract can’t be sorted out and Samuel decides to leaves the organization, then now would be optimal to make a push for a deep playoff run.
With these two under contract, a Super Bowl could certainly be a possibility.
