No. 1: Jimmy Garoppolo will throw for 300 yards

Right now you’re probably thinking, “No way this happens.” The good news is, you don’t have to believe it. His teammates do. They’ve been rallying around him the entire postseason.

Besides, something has to give. His breakout performance has to come sooner or later. So why not have it happen against the Rams in the NFC Championship game?

The truth is, Jimmy Garoppolo is a winner.

In 2019, through the first half of the season he was undefeated. A perfect 8-0. He led his team to the Super Bowl. And this year he’s led his team to the NFC Championship game. Again.

Sure, he’s done it behind a powerful run game and a dominant defense. But that sounds like a team effort to me.

So how would it happen? What would Jimmy G need to do to surpass 300 yards on Sunday?

For starters, he needs to lessen the turnover-worthy throws when he’s under pressure. Next, he has to play a full 60 minutes of football. And most importantly, he has to learn how to slow down the game. Especially when it seems like chaos is at its highest point.

With rumors swirling about a possible trade in the offseason, this could be Garoppolo‘s last game in San Francisco.

So, how will Sunday’s game go exactly? It’s anyone’s guess at this point. One thing is for sure, Garoppolo is the starter, and for now, the 49ers are his team.

The real question is, where will he lead them?
