3 reasons why 49ers defeated Rams in crucial Week 18 game

No. 2: 49ers watch Jauan Jennings go off for huge game
The 49ers needed to find ways to win, and they called on second-year wide receiver Jauan Jennings’ number a few times for some monstrous plays.
Jennings ended the game with six receptions, 94 yards, and two touchdowns, and he had some great moments, too, often getting the first down by juking out his defender and rumbling for big gains.
With the Niners’ blue-chip players playing great, the development of Jennings into a reliable, productive wideout is only going to help the team achieve a deep playoff run. With his immense frame, Jennings is an excellent blocker, who also has enough wiggle to make plays as a receiver, breaking tackles along the way.
One of Jennings’ best plays was this wide-open catch that lead to a San Francisco touchdown:

It became clear in the second half that Jennings was going to win over his man and the team made sure to get him the ball.
It paid off to the tune of two touchdowns.
