Titans Stud: Wide Receiver A.J. Brown

When things get this disappointing, it’s almost necessary to call out opposing players.

And good for A.J. Brown returning off injured reserve from his chest injury and absolutely dominating the game. He took over in the second half, hands down.

It would have been understandable if Brown, who hadn’t played since Week 11, was only modestly involved in the offense after missing so much time.

Instead, he was dominant and was the biggest offensive reason why Tennessee recaptured the lead and eventually won the game.

In total, Brown had 11 catches for 145 yards and the above touchdown, nearly breaking his season-high 10-catch, 155-yard effort back in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. Had Brown been at any less of a capacity, it’s likely the Niners wind up pulling off the victory despite their own offensive mistakes.

Good for Brown, not so much for San Francisco’s defense.
