49ers Pro Bowler No. 2: EDGE Nick Bosa

Cleveland Browns EDGE Myles Garrett is among those in the top five of Pro Bowl votes already, and that’s fine. He’s currently the NFL’s leading sack artist with 13, and he’s done plenty to make the Browns’ pass-rushing efforts formidable this season.

But that doesn’t mean 49ers EDGE Nick Bosa should be among the forgotten.

Bosa isn’t far behind in sack production this season, currently tied for fifth in the league with 10 sacks, already surpassing his previous personal record of nine set back during his rookie 2019 season.

On top of that, though, Bosa currently leads the entire league with 15 tackles for a loss, showcasing why he’s doing much more than just getting to opposing quarterbacks.

And to think, Bosa is doing this without much of a pass rush from other Niners defenders (no one else on San Francisco’s roster has more than three sacks) and after suffering a torn ACL early last season.

Perhaps that’ll put him in line for the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, right?

At any rate, Bosa deserves to be recognized for what should be his second Pro Bowl nomination in his still-budding career.
