No. 2: Jaguars EDGE Josh Allen can take over the game

Jacksonville might lack talent overall, but that doesn’t mean it’s completely devoid of impact players.

Especially EDGE Josh Allen, who has a team-leading 5.5 sacks for the Jaguars on the season.

In one of the Jags’ two wins, a 9-6 upset over the stout Buffalo Bills, Allen was a wrecking ball of a force, recording one interception, a fumble recovery and a sack against another Josh Allen, the quarterback of the Bills.

Pretty unique day there:

At any rate, San Francisco has to be concerned with Jacksonville’s Allen having a similar kind of day, especially given the 49ers’ question marks at right tackle with Mike McGlinchey on season-ending injured reserve and his No. 2, Jaylon Moore, dealing with a knee injury.

That could potentially open up the door for third-string lineman Tom Compton, who has already been credited with a sack allowed and six quarterback pressures over just 90 snaps, to get the start.

Advantage: Allen.
