Eagles an under-the-radar NFC East contender?

NN: Most NFL analysts view the Eagles as a fourth-place team in the NFC East this year, including FanSided’s own, Matt Lombardo. Do you think that’s an accurate assessment, or is Philly sliding in underneath the radar en route to being a dark-horse contender?

"II: I’m not sure that this is a team that’s ready to contend after beating the Falcons. Come on, man. It’s the Falcons, but they aren’t the worst team in this division either. I believe that to be the New York Giants. Washington may have the division’s most gifted defense and its best head coach. The Cowboys probably have the NFC East’s best offense and quarterback. The Giants aren’t truly special anywhere except for the running back position, and Saquon Barkley looked rusty in the Giants’ opener. Philly is better on offense, defense, and on special teams than New York is. Jalen Hurts is better than Daniel Jones, and I, whether anyone wants to believe this or not, believe that Nick Sirianni is better than Joe Judge. I believe New York will finish in the cellar. None of these teams are dominant. This division will probably wind up in the hands of a de-facto champion again, but when the smoke clears and the dust settles, each team will surprise some teams, but no one will win more than nine games."
