As per usual, this is a very easy set of players to predict, as none of these players had any others coming after their jobs in training camp or during the preseason.

Given that, the kicking battery should remain the same in 2021 without much question, although the 49ers will hope that punter Mitch Wishnowsky will mostly see the field catch snaps from Taybor Pepper on extra points kicked by Robbie Gould after touchdowns.

This is without a doubt the easiest position group on the roster to predict.

The Niners finished the preseason with two wins, although everyone knows that those wins don’t really matter. The final game against the Raiders was certainly enlightening in terms of what Kyle Shanahan showed with his offense and it was key for roster bubble players like Jalen Hurd, Elijah Mitchell, and whoever ends up being the fifth linebacker.

But now it’s time for San Francisco’s brass to answer the call and build that initial 53-man roster as they look to be contenders in the NFC in 2021.
