No. 9 Fantasy Football Bust to Avoid: WR Will Fuller, Dolphins

It’s one thing to be catching passes from a Pro Bowl-caliber quarterback like Deshaun Watson despite the complete mess the Houston Texans were last season.

But for now-Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller, he might be wishing he’d go back to his old stomping grounds where he posted 53 receptions for 879 yards and eight touchdowns a year ago.

At least in terms of his immediate production in Miami this year.

The Dolphins elected to stick with embattled quarterback Tua Tagovailoa under center despite concerns he’d be an immediate flameout at the NFL level. Early reports from Tagovailoa’s offseason practices with the team aren’t encouraging, and Miami isn’t exactly equipped with a gunslinging backup as it had a year ago with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“Tua time” could end up being bad time for Fuller this season.

Fortunately, it’s looking like fantasy football owners are anticipating this, as Fuller’s ADP is currently at 8.01.

Yet some could argue that might be too high anyway, and until Fuller makes the most out of what could be a bad situation in 2021, he’s probably worth passing altogether on draft day.
