3 teams 49ers don’t want to see Julio Jones traded to

No. 2: Green Bay Packers
Another NFC North team could easily be in play for Julio Jones this offseason, the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are in an odd situation anyway, namely with quarterback Aaron Rodgers upset with the front office and not reporting to OTAs yet. And while Rodgers has his reasons, a prime one has been the lack of attention Green Bay has given to the skill positions, and not finding help for the quarterback at wide receiver over the years has been a source of frustration.
Well, one way to solve that would be for the Packers to lure in Jones.
Jones stated he wants to play for a winner. And despite the 49ers having frustrated Rodgers’ push for another Super Bowl ring in 2019, the fact the Packers remain a legitimate playoff favorite entering 2020 after going 13-3 the last two seasons tells you pretty much everything you need to know in that regard.
And Jones could be the player to help push Green Bay over the top, possibly over a team like the Niners.
The Packers are in a slightly better cap situation than Chicago, currently well above $2 million. They also have their full crop of draft picks for 2022, too, making a would-be Jones trade a bit more doable.
