2021 NFL Draft: 49ers bulk up secondary in full Round 1 mock

2021 NFL Draft: Packers select running back Najee Harris, Alabama
The Green Bay Packers shouldn’t do this. They have other more important needs elsewhere, such as at cornerback, wide receiver and potentially along the interior of their offensive line if center Corey Linsley walks in free agency.
But then again, a bigger mistake for Green Bay would be spending too much money to re-sign star running back Aaron Jones this offseason.
Never overspend on running backs. That should be a new league rule.
Jones will get his money this offseason, yes. With fellow Packers running back Jamaal Williams also hitting the open market, though, the lack of a solid rusher who can fill the void left by both becomes notably apparent.
Alabama’s Najee Harris made an even bigger name for himself during the CFB Playoff Championship, and it doesn’t take much to see why quarterback Aaron Rodgers would forgive Green Bay’s front office for passing on yet another wide receiver early in favor of a tailback who can do essentially everything out of the backfield.
Simply put, Harris in the Packers offense would be unfair.
