2021 NFL Draft: 49ers bulk up secondary in full Round 1 mock

2021 NFL Draft: Browns select cornerback Jaycee Horn, South Carolina
The Cleveland Browns finally broke their playoff drought last season, and there are plenty of weapons to like on both sides of the ball.
That said, Cleveland’s defense remains far from complete. And in order to retain the headway it gained within the tough AFC North last season, getting some additional help in the secondary would be a wise move.
True, the Browns can count on cornerback Denzel Ward being fully healthy in 2021, yet there’s still a need to find some additional cover options. Especially with fellow corner Greedy Williams having some serious injury questions of his own after missing all of 2020.
Fortunately, South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn would be an easy target at this point of the draft.
Horn, 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, has the ability to play on the boundary or move inside to nickel. He’s physical and won’t shy away from contact, which is precisely what the Browns need to bulk up their secondary.
