No. 2: SF 49ers Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon

I won’t sugarcoat this: Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon is probably one of the team’s worst defensive players and has utterly exhausted any possibility of receiving another chance with the team. He has disappointed the fans, and more importantly the front office, time and time again. Witherspoon basically was given one last shot this season when Richard Sherman went down with an injury and didn’t even last for two weeks as a gameday corner.

Witherspoon was one of the reasons I had discussed the 49ers cornerback depth being one of their biggest weaknesses going into the season, and he proved me right yet again. He will definitely be sent packing at the end of the season after now finding himself a frequent member of the weekly inactive list.
