SF 49ers Cornerback Target No. 2: Jaycee Horn, South Carolina

Jaycee Horn is a bit of a different cornerback to what Patrick Surtain II is, in the sense that he is much faster and athletic than Surtain II while still producing in the Southeastern Conference.

Horn already has two interceptions and six pass breakups for the season and has made a lot of plays with 23 breakups in his college career.

Horn is fast, agile and has a knack for getting in a position to make plays. While Richard Sherman has been a good acquisition for the SF 49ers, San Francisco could look towards getting someone with more agility to take his place.

His 6-foot-1 frame is in the right area for the Niners to be interested, his production is good and he has the right tools and mental acumen to produce in the NFL.

Where Horn especially shows promise is in his ability to run with receivers and prevent separation. While the 49ers can scheme help to corners given they like to have seven people in coverage where possible, having someone who can cover somebody on his own is a big advantage.

Should Horn keep up his production, he could definitely be someone the Niners look to as a building block for the future.
