SF 49ers NFL Draft Target No. 3: CB Jaycee Horn, South Carolina

The 2021 draft class is one that has a lot of secondary talent, a position which the SF 49ers could definitely look at investing in.

Here’s a second cornerback to look at with Jaycee Horn, an athletic cornerback out of South Carolina.

Horn has had a very strong start to his 2020 season, already having two interceptions and six passes defended. He can make plays on the ball and has the frame to cover receivers of all kinds at the professional level.

What the Niners want from their outside corners is the athleticism to keep up with receivers and the intelligence to play the defensive schemes of coordinator Robert Saleh.

Horn is a prime candidate based on these perquisites, and continued strong play would see his prospects advance to the point the 49ers might be grateful to pick him as the latest first-round selection.
