No. 3: SF 49ers Jimmy Garoppolo gets his swagger back

The Jets are the perfect team for Jimmy Garoppolo to regain his swagger. As previously mentioned, the Jets gave up over 300 yards passing to the Buffalo Bills, which is great for the SF 49ers who desperately need Garoppolo and his receivers to start clicking.

In 2019, after their first loss of the season, Garoppolo went off on the Cardinals. He threw for 424 yards and four touchdowns. After their second loss, he won the shootout in New Orleans with 349 yards and four touchdowns.

And finally, after the third loss of the year, Garoppolo threw for 248 yards and a touchdown.

In three bounce-back games, he had a total of 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns. It’s safe to say when Garoppolo needs to step up, he’ll do it.

Josh Allen confidently managed his offense against the Jets, including running a touchdown in himself.

Seeing Allen perform the way he did, should give Garoppolo the confidence he needs to take on one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.
