49ers Loser: Jalen Hurd

Unfortunately, wide receiver Jalen Hurd cannot get a shred of luck during his career as he will once again miss the season due to injury.  After recovering from a broken back in his rookie year, Hurd tore his ACL in practice and will miss 2020 because of it.

It’s a shame because Hurd has a lot of raw talent that could be utilized in the San Francisco offense.

The big issue here for Hurd is his durability. Two separate injuries both serious enough to wipe out his season before it even starts put a big question mark on the ability of his body to handle the stresses of the NFL.

The question of whether or not his career can get off the ground is one to wait for 2021 however, for now, he has to go onto injured reserve and rehab his body to hopefully get into shape for next season.
