49ers Wide Receiver Wide Receiver

It’s easy to forget when you go back and watch highlights from the 2019 season that wide receiver Deebo Samuel was only a rookie. He definitely played like a grown man and was one of the 49ers’ most dangerous and punishing players down the stretch of the season. His ability in both the receiving and passing game is unmatched, and he is already starting to look like a future star in the league.

Did you know last season he led NFL wide receivers in rushing yards with 159 yards? His receiving stats were quite impressive as well, posting a line of 57 catches for 802 yards and three touchdowns.

He’s the perfect fit for Kyle Shanahan’s scheme and will surely be a huge part of the offensive game plan in the 2020 season. He is definitely one of the most dynamic skill players on this roster and will undoubtedly continue to grow as a premier pass catcher in the league even with him suffering a foot fracture during the offseason.

The Niners are unquestionably a better team with him on the field.
