Nothing much to say here.

The 49ers didn’t bring in any competition for Robbie Gould, who is entering the second year of a four-year contract extension he signed last summer. He’d count for over $5 in dead money if cut at this point, so despite struggling at times throughout 2019, Gould will be around for at least one more year, when the cap savings and dead money become more team-friendly.

Punter Mitch Wishnowsky is only heading into his second NFL season and is coming off a solid rookie year, so he’s not going anywhere either. The 2019 fourth-round draft pick will be the 49ers’ punter until at least the end of the 2022 season.

Long-snapper Kyle Nelson missed a chunk of games last season while serving the end of a suspension for PEDs and there were some noticeable differences in the quality of the snaps from that position. He is also in the second year of his contract extension from 2019.

The 49ers roster overall looks to be strong heading into the 2020 season, with no much in the way of turnover. This could be important as the team looks to repeat as NFC champions and attempt to win the Super Bowl at the end of this season.
