Cornerback Desmond King

K’Waun Williams is a vastly underrated member of the 49ers, but that doesn’t remove the possibility of him leaving in free agency. While third-year pro D.J. Reed may be the one they’re grooming to take over, there’s always room for competition.

Desmond King was elite in 2018, earning a Pro Football Focus grade of 90.5, but his performance fell short of expectations last season. That dip in production seems to have given the Los Angeles Chargers pause when considering his future, as they went out and signed Chris Harris Jr. earlier this offseason.
