2020 NFL Draft: Grading the draft class from all 32 teams
Team needs
Offensive line help and a lot of it. Jack Conklin was a great addition for right tackle, but the team needed to add blocking up front to help stop Baker Mayfield‘s regression at quarterback. Some further weapons would also go a long way towards helping.
Defensively, the team needed desperate upgrades at linebacker.
2020 NFL Draft class

- No. 88: Jordan Elliot, Defensive Tackle, Missouri
- No. 97: Jacob Phillips, Linebacker, LSU
- No. 115: Harrison Bryant, Tight End, FAU
- No. 160: Nick Harris, Center, Washington
- No. 187: Donovan Peoples-Jones, Wide Receiver, Michigan
Draft review
Mayfield has been given all the tools he needs to succeed. Jedrick Wills will man the blindside, Harrison Bryant is another tight end threat and Donovan Peoples-Jones is a project who could blossom into a huge steal. Nick Harris was also a solid pick and could easily start at center.
Meanwhile the defensive picks were all good value. Grant Delpit is a playmaker, Jordan Elliot should have been a pick in the second round and Jacob Phillips could start right away.
The Browns are talented but have lacked direction. They won’t touch Baltimore for the division, but this NFL Draft haul could see them move closer to the Wild Card.
